Getting Ready For Market

We're busy getting ready for our second market this week - Thursday, 3 - 7 PM in East Goshen Park. Don't forget - rain or shine we'll be in the park - this week with 18 vendors!!! 

Ellen April will be there with her lovely hand-crafted soaps and Laura's Biscotti will have a variety of biscotti and granola. Check in tomorrow for a listing of specials being offered by our vendors. 

This is a big week for us - we're planting the East Goshen Farmers' Market Children's Flower Garden!!! Main Line Gardens has generously donated 2 flats of stunning impatients for the garden - thank you so much Main Line Gardens!!! Mark Miller, head of East Goshen Township's Municipal Works Department is busy preparing the flower beds. Now, all we need is a gaggle of kids to help us plant the garden - come on out and join us!!!

This week our market will also feature music - "old time music" provided by some local Chester County musicians. We hope to be able to feature a musician every week - please let us know if you have any ideas!

We will also have PASA joining us this week - Pennsylvania Sustainable Agriculture - to provide your with resources on agricultural issues.
