Don't be intimidated by the tart!
Its so easy!
The crust is a snap - no rolling - just press into the tart pan.
You can use a round pan -
I love this rectangular one - its unexpected.

Here's the tart crust after it's initial baking.
Sprinkled with ground almonds - I like to use roasted almonds - unsalted.
The almonds keep the crust from getting soggy!
Apricots - just the word makes you smile!
Tart and sweet all in one bite.
Their season is short so get them while you can.
 Apricots all in place -
floating in the almond scented custard mix.
An hour in the oven and voile!
All dressed up with a dusting of powdered sugar!
Taste?
Yum!
